OTOP (One Town One Product). As the name suggests: one city, one product. In August 2022, among the ten priority strategies proposed by the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), it was clearly stated that the "one town, one product" policy should be upgraded to the regional level based on the natural endowments and comparative advantages of the region.
On May 31, 2023, the Philippine Senate passed the OTOP Act to further support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises in the Philippines.
